The squat press is a great exercise to increase strength and power in your legs, hips, lower back, abdominals, shoulders, and arms. Being a whole-body movement, the squat press increases your cardiovascular requirements, compared to the more commonly used, isolated pushing exercises like bench press and shoulder press.
